Finalists for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The University of Winchester, sponsors
of Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Winchester
Business Excellence Awards, have short listed
their category down to a final 4.

We have been delighted by the number and
quality of the applications received for this
years Entrepreneur of the Year Award. It
was no easy task to select the four finalists
and I dont doubt it will be even harder
to select the overall winner as they are all exceptional
in their own way.
Brush Baby Ms Dominique
Tillen
Brush-Baby is a new innovative product inspired
by a little girl, designed by her mum, endorsed
by Dentists. Ms Dominique Tillen launched her
first product in 2008 which has now become one
of the market-leaders in oral hygiene. Brush-Baby
is soft and flexible, making it gentle on tender
gums and more comfortable in young mouths. Babies
find it fascinating, bendy and fun. Brush-Baby's
soft bristles massage gums and help to remove
the sugars, starches and other foods that can
lead to tooth decay from little teeth and gums.
PA Anywhere Miss Fiona
Whitehouse
Launched in 2006, PA Anywhere had a main aim to
provide a virtual PA service to small businesses
that couldnt warrant employing a PA. Since
launching the business Fiona has seen a change
in the market to include SMEs as businesses have
to make cutbacks. PA Anywhere is the cutting edge
of the virtual PA world. They are a vibrant and
dynamic team of professional PAs, who provide
a dependable and supportive secretarial service.
Fiona is currently researching into the possibility
of extending their services internationally to
USA, New Zealand and Canada.
Intergr8 Dance Miss
Charlotte Sapey
Started in 2009 by Director Charlotte Sapey, Integr8
Dance was the vision to provide quality but affordable
dance teaching to schools, colleges, education
centres and theatres. They are driven by the inspiration
of knowing how beneficial dance can be to children,
young people, adults and even to businesses. Dance
can build confidence, develop co-ordination, increase
fitness, prevent obesity and be a fantastic team
building activity, as well as being a lot of fun.
At Integr8 Dance they tailor our programmes to
suit a wide range of people.
Parchment Jewellers
Mr David Hill
Parchment Jewellers is a bespoke diamond jewellery
shop located on Parchment Street in the historic
city of Winchester. Their service operates on
the principals of flexibility, quality, uniqueness
and experience. In 2008 David Hill developed a
totally unique business model and has managed
to double turnover in the second year of trading.
Parchment Jewellers manufactures high quality
Engagement Rings, Fitted Wedding Rings, Eternity
Rings, Dress Rings, Earrings and Pedants, Bracelets
and Bangles. They design and manufacture all their
jewellery on site so can cater to any request.
